Serving, flavour and fill

Start with the serving your buyer will use.

A useful manufacturing enquiry makes the format, composition and saleable pack clear from the start. These details help distinguish the product you want from a generic catalogue request.

01

Ingredients per serving

Provide the full formula and ingredient amounts per serving. State the proposed serving weight separately from the net fill of the sachet or jar.

02

Flavour and preparation

Powder flavour development is available. Share the preferred flavour, sweetness direction and preparation method, including the intended liquid and quantity if relevant.

03

Sachet or multi-serving jar

For sachets, give net grams per sachet and sachets per carton. For jars, give net fill weight, serving weight and whether a scoop is required.

Packaging & quantity

One formula brief. Two distinct packing decisions.

Final batch and packaging quantities are reviewed for your project. The examples here help you describe the order; they are not a commitment to supply a particular specification.

Sachets

Typical starting point: 6,000 sachets. Specify fill weight, sachets per finished carton, artwork and the intended use. Material and seal requirements are assessed for the product.

Powder jars

Typical starting point: 2,000 jars. Specify net weight, servings, closure, scoop and label. Net fill in grams is different from the container’s volume.

Translate the pack into an order quantity.

Use this planning aid to describe the requirement. The result is a quantity calculation, not a quotation or confirmation of batch feasibility.

Enter both quantities to see the order size.

Manufacturing due diligence

Connect the product to its documents.

Before agreeing the order, ask for the documents relevant to the proposed formula, manufacturing site and destination market. Confirm which records will be available and when.

Site and product scope

Confirm the current Unit V documentation and the scope relevant to your proposed product. A general company credential is not a substitute for product-specific review.

Specification and batch records

Agree the finished-product specification, applicable tests and the batch documentation to be supplied. Discuss the certificate of analysis and release documentation for the order.

Pack, shelf life and artwork

Review the actual pack, storage conditions and supporting shelf-life information. Agree the formula, label and claims before committing printed materials.

Make the first conversation useful

Your powder or sachet manufacturing brief.

Send what you already know. If the formula, pack or quantity is still open, identify that in the enquiry so the next conversation can focus on the decision you need to make.

Buying for India or an export market?

Name the intended country and sales channel. Product category, ingredients, claims, labels and documentation are reviewed for the intended market before supply is committed.

  • Flavour and preparation requirements
  • Sachet or jar, net fill and serving count
  • Number of sachets or jars; units per outer carton
  • India or named export destination
  • Target launch date and expected reorder volume

Buyer questions

Before you request a quotation.

What are your starting quantities for powders and sachets?

Typical starting points are 2,000 powder jars or 6,000 sachets. These guide the first discussion. Share a smaller or different requirement too; the final feasible batch and pack quantities depend on the project.

Do you review oral powder and sachet supplement projects?

Yes. Bring us the nutraceutical oral powder formula, serving weight, flavour, pack and target market. For sachet supplement manufacturing, also specify grams per sachet and sachets per saleable carton. Medicine powders require a separate product and category review.

Can you develop the powder flavour?

Yes. Powder flavour development is available at Unit V. Bring your desired flavour, sweetness and preparation experience into the brief so a suitable direction can be assessed.

Do you offer both sachets and jars?

Yes. Include the net fill weight and required number of sachets or jars. If you want both formats, describe each pack and its quantity separately.

Can I treat grams per serving as grams per pack?

Only when one pack contains exactly one serving. For a multi-serving jar, state both the serving weight and the total net fill. This avoids comparing quotations for different quantities of product.

Can the same product be supplied for India and export?

Name each intended market in the brief. The formula, product category, label, claims and required documents need review for each destination before supply is committed.

Bring us the requirement you have.

Share the composition, pack, quantity and target market. Typical starting quantities guide the discussion; your specific project determines the next step.
