Formula, fill and shell
A useful manufacturing enquiry makes the format, composition and saleable pack clear from the start. These details help distinguish the product you want from a generic catalogue request.
List the ingredient amounts per capsule and the number of capsules in a serving. Share any existing blend specification so the fill requirement can be assessed.
Vegetarian capsule shell options are available. Tell us the required shell material, colour and dietary positioning; the exact shell and whole-formula suitability need confirmation.
Decide the count per blister, strip or jar, then the number of finished packs you need. A capsule count and a jar count describe different parts of the order.
Packaging & quantity
Final batch and packaging quantities are reviewed for your project. The examples here help you describe the order; they are not a commitment to supply a particular specification.
For blister, strip or Alu packs, specify capsules per card and cards per carton. Bring material preferences and the artwork brief into the quotation.
State capsules per jar, closure, label and outer-pack needs. The selected shell, fill and finished pack are reviewed together.
Use this planning aid to describe the requirement. The result is a quantity calculation, not a quotation or confirmation of batch feasibility.
Manufacturing due diligence
Before agreeing the order, ask for the documents relevant to the proposed formula, manufacturing site and destination market. Confirm which records will be available and when.
Confirm the current Unit V documentation and the scope relevant to your proposed product. A general company credential is not a substitute for product-specific review.
Agree the finished-product specification, applicable tests and the batch documentation to be supplied. Discuss the certificate of analysis and release documentation for the order.
Review the actual pack, storage conditions and supporting shelf-life information. Agree the formula, label and claims before committing printed materials.
Make the first conversation useful
Send what you already know. If the formula, pack or quantity is still open, identify that in the enquiry so the next conversation can focus on the decision you need to make.
Name the intended country and sales channel. Product category, ingredients, claims, labels and documentation are reviewed for the intended market before supply is committed.
Buyer questions
A typical starting point is 50,000 capsules. Tell us your actual requirement, including smaller quantities, so batch and packaging feasibility can be reviewed. The final commercial minimum is agreed for the project.

Yes. Vegetarian shell options are available at Unit V. The specific shell and ingredients must be reviewed together before making a dietary claim for the finished product.
This page covers hard capsules. For a softgel project, use our softgel capsule manufacturing page. The softgel route uses gelatin shells; the vegetarian-shell option described here applies to hard capsules.
Share the complete formula and any available material or blend information. Capsule size and fill suitability need a technical review; ingredient weight alone is not a confirmed size specification.
Share your target date. The delivery schedule is confirmed once the formula, shell, materials, artwork, pack and required review work are agreed.
Share the composition, pack, quantity and target market. Typical starting quantities guide the discussion; your specific project determines the next step.
